Or don't, since that's straying into the territory of ridiculous junk identifiers that only serve to make someone appear more unique. It raises my hairs because people do the same things with tulpas, trying to use them as another way to be edgy and different from everyone else.

shrug if they aren't actively hurting anyone else, i really don't care what people think or do

my otherkin is not that serious, its more of identifying with that character than actually believing your them

I'd rather have my social circles and communities filled with people who have something meaningful to bring to the table besides how arbitrarily special they are.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that kin are an inherently ridiculous concept used only by those who cannot distinguish themselves otherwise and thus seek to invent ways to be different. There appears to be no validity whatsoever to either the concept or what people claim of it.

yeah, there's definitely a distinction between merely feeling a connection with a character and the actual "kin" belief that you are that character from like a previous life or something

I've only interacted with one who is very "kin"y. It was like they felt humanity did them wrong and they feel alien in the world so they cut ties and are now... kin

I recently noticed I'm having a lot of trouble with parroting. Lately I will talk to my Tulpa Ranger and I will hear his voice talking back to me, only it's not him. What's worse is both of us can become confused and he will mistake my thoughts for his. Where should I start to fix this problem?

I think the important part is you sorted your thoughts out after you noticed them.

That's the other weird thing... I am really having trouble sensing Ranger's presence.

This happens many times in a day usually for me. What helps is often just to stop for a moment, inhale and exhale deeply, clear my mind momentarily, then ask them if they said whatever I wasn’t sure about
